Hi everybody. I just found this site and thought I would check it out. I hope to get into the sport this summer (or as soon as I get the licenses and join a club). I'm 53 years old and last shot a gun when I was 12 or 13 at the Sharon Gun Club with my dad. I plan to take both the non-restricted and restricted courses. Anyway, I don't want to ramble so I will check out the threads and I'm sure I will have some questions. Who knows, maybe I can even answer a few.

I live just north of the Beaches area. Would you know of any clubs close by? I noticed there is a club in Scarborough but they only allow .22 cal. I may check out Range Burlington or even Sharon. The Sharon Gun Club $35.00 introduction seems very interesting but the membership seems expensive though.
 
I'm in Burlington and I can say the Range Burlington is probably the best club I've ever been to in the GTA. It's a bit of a pain to get into but you appreciate it after you're a member because they weed out a few of the Yahoos. It's a 24 hour club as well which is definitely nice. They're equipped to handle every kind of ammo right up to 50cal and Shotgun Slugs. When you get all your stuff together drop me a PM and I'll take you as a guest sometime.

hey im glad you said your from the beaches and not the beach:)..another one from the north beaches here:).
welcome to gun nutz,take your time and take a few days to read all you can here,as im sure you will need a few days to get to read a bunch here..
