Have been away from my hobby for a long time but the work pressure and travel is easing off and I again have time for my guns and things related.
I enjoy checking out the CGN forums and appreciate the willingnes by all to share the knowledge.

"don't ever make a spelling mistakes" - thanks, I know - I have been lurking in the shadows following the Newbe threads for a while, before I introduced myself - the public flogging can get pretty entertaining.
Fun though.

"Blondie" seems to have put at least one of his socks in his mouth lately - after the last mayhem I saw him making a statement about "taking guns from the hands of criminals" - no public reference to the "so called legitimate gun owners".

Is "Toronto The Bad" working ? - certainly it is not the common sense.

Welcome guys...from another fellow T.er. If you are looking for a skeet/trap range near by, there is 1 just south of Barrie, in Cookstown. It's called TITS (Toronto International Trap Shooting Club). Been there many times, and only 1/2 hour north of the city.

Be sure to help the sport and join one or both of the Canadian shooting organizations. CSSA is at the top of the page. NFA has a website.

At the moment, they and the federal Conservatives are all that stand between your semi autos and confiscation.

I do not see how Toronto Council can legally force you to give_up your guns.
Gun ownership is a Federally controlled process.
Once scenario - When (God forbid) the Liberals get back to Ottawa in majority they might pass some of the fireams control to local jurisdictions. (Just like Pinokio gave Toronto ability to raise its own taxes. )
And that would give Pinokio and Miller a free hand to declare Toronto a Gun Free Zone.
And then they would offer you something like Green Bags for your guns.
And Toronto would go along with it. And the Liberals and they allies Criminals would applaud.

To quote the Great Leader :
