hello all, I'd have to say I'm about as new to the sport as they come. I've fired a gun on only one occasion, last month on a trip to the US, visited a gun store and shooting range, got to shoot 100 rounds from a rented .44 magnum. It was a good thing I did that at 9 am, any later and I'd have not slept that night
Anyway now that I'm back in Canada, where guns are so evil the government only wants the criminals to have them, I wanna start getting into the sport. Basically I've been reading here for a few weeks, I've determined that I need to get my PAL and RPAL, as I really enjoyed the .44. I've found the CFO for the province's phone number in the phone book, is that my first call? Or do I call a gun club? What would be an appropriate club nearby for my interests, namely handguns and shotguns. I'm a really big framed, strong guy, and found the .44 was a nice gun for me ( fired a few rounds one handed, fun).
Thanks,
Curt
