Hi all. I'm looking to talk about lever action 30-30 rifles and peoples opinions on them. I'd like a Marlin 336 SBL. Hard to come by it seems so what other good levers would you all suggest?

Thanks for the welcome! I've been wanting to do some sport shooting for quite some time and decided this is the year despite all of the chaos. Perhaps that has encouraged me! I'd hoped to get a rifle now in case prices go up but we'll see. Thinking I should get on it.

You'd consider Winchester better than Henry generally speaking? I've tried to research but trust individual opinions.

That's a good tip, thank you. I wouldn't have realized that point so I'll put some time into tracking a Marlin down.
