Hello to Canada!

Hi!
I am a student from the south of Germany and I'm planning on spending a year in Canada, probably at Vancouver Island University.
I am a lot into hunting and shooting. I am hoping I can still do my hobbies over in Canada.
If you have any advice, especially if Vancouver Island is a nice place to stay for a year, or wether I should orientate myself more to Montreal e.g., I am really happy to hear from you!

My Father is a Berliner who came here in '57 for a year...lol, he went back again in '80 for a visit. Pack extra socks, you may enjoy your stay!

You should plan on getting a Canadian PAL and joining an approved shooting club.

Hello and welcome. Enjoy Canada. Vancouver Island is a wonderful place. Victoria is probably the most "English" city in Canada. Montreal is a wonderful place. It is the North American city with the most European characteristics -- mostly French, of course. Enjoy the site.
