A brief introduction!
Growing up my family didn't hunt or target shoot so I didn't get a chance to shoot my first firearm until last year when I purchased a groupon to one of the local shooting centre's. Flash forward to 6 months ago when I wrote my PAL and R-PAL and then to last week when I purchased my first firearm.
So what was my first purchase you might ask???
After much thought, research and discussion and handling numerous other 9mm semi-auto's I decided on a Glock 17 Gen 4. While I still haven't had a chance to bring it home (paper took longer than expected then I got busy with work and home life) I did get a chance to put a quick 50 rounds through it at the range where I purchased it. I must say beginners luck was on my side as my first two shots were about 1/4 inch of centre (although only at 7 metres out).
So what's next...probably a JR Carbine or other non-restricted 9mm that's compatible with the Glock magazines.
Anyways that is my quick introduction.
