From Ft Mac, going to school. Just learning the joys of shooting often. Looking to learn about marksmanship, rifles and handguns. Already own a .40 Sig P226 DAK and a 7mm Parker-Hale. Thinking of buying another rifle for long range shooting. A .308 maybe? Savage rifle maybe? Any thoughts or suggestions? Although the rifle will be used mostly at the range, I'd still like something practical enough to hunt with. Sorry for the dumb questions, I'm pretty green.

Welcome!!! Savage.....Remington Sako Tikka Browning etc all very good and strong bolt actions........308......300 win mag.....300short mag 300 ultra mag.... 7mm......7x57.......depending on where you hunt a 270 !!! All are very good choices................have fun!!!
