welcome to the site!

I just got into muzzle loading this year and I'm addicted nothing like fighting to see though the smoke and the rush it brings!.....

outlan,
Welcome to the forum. I've never owned or fired a black powder gun but I've watched some being fired. Thet look like a blast to shoot although I hear clean-up can be a bit messy and time consuming.

Actually they clean up quicker than a copper fouled barrel. A quick scrub with hot soapy water, rinse with hot water, run a couple of dry patches in to remove excess water, then let dry (residual heat from using hot water helps here) then apply lubricant/rust preventative. I can clean my little 36 cal fiintlock in about 15 minutes total.

a little butches bore shine on a patch or two,,couple of dry patches and your done. clean ups a breeze compared to useing a chemical copper cleaner.

thanks for the warm welcome all.
