Hi,

I just joined up! I'm new to the world of guns so I have some questions. I'm looking for a .308 semi-auto that is accurate for target shooting. I don't know where to start. I have a CZ 550 in a .308 with a McMillan stock and it's very accurate. What could I add to my collection in semi-auto? Any suggestions?

As for your question on best accurate semi-auto there might be other members to help you out on that question, I have not seen a semi that will shoot as good as bolt. but they make a good hunting gun

I don't have experience, other than arm-chair, but from what I can tell the M-14 platform is a great starting place for a .308 semi-auto that can be upgraded to Match Accuracy. In terms of restricted weapons, an AR-10 comes to mind, but that is going to be an expensive rifle. Another 30 caliber option is the Mini-30, but it shoots 7.62*39. Hope this helps
