Hi all! New to the forum, but not new to forums in general.
Why did I join? Because it's time I did
I've been shooting & hunting for abotu 25 years now, starting with my grandfathers old Cooey Mohawk 22.
I've amassed a larger than needed collection and am in the process of determing what stays and what goes ... and this forum will hopefully help me make some of those decisions.
Also, I've been away from reloading for about 10 years now, but am hoping to get back into it, and a few refreshers would be a good thing.
I was certified as a Glock Armorer a decade or so ago ... but admittedly never really used that information. Finances at the time didn't allow me to own one, and I wasn't set up for working on other people's.
Currrent collection is a wide range of rifles from single shot 22's to a Remington in 35 Whelen, various types and gauges of shotguns, as well as as variety of both restricted & prohibited handguns. Interesting side-note ... The greenslip (registration) for one of my prohibited handguns lists "Unknown" or "N/A" for all available entries - Make, Model, Serial, etc.. The only "factual" information on the greenslip is the caliber!
Target & Trap Shooting and small game hunting make up the majority of my gun usage - along with the yearly shiver-fest on opening day of duck season At least global warming has eliminated the need to use the canoe as an ice-breaker while navigating the river
If I start telling you that I'm 40, live near Lake Simcoe, Ontario, enjoy reading and making stained glass, etc.. then this would start to feel like some personal profile for an online dating site so I'll stop typing now and leave this as my welcome post
