I am both new to this forum and new to all the options this forum has to play with so please forgive my tardiness in moving through this process. I joined primarily because I am tired of being a left handed shooter accepting the need to shoot right handed guns because these were the best deals.
I am primarily a meat hunter but take pride in a one shot one animal down hunt history. I am looking for info on a good left-hand bolt action, box magazine rifle and have a preference for the 7 mm Remington mag caliber. I have seen the Tikka T3 but prefer more weight than this in a large caliber. My current gun is a Shultz and Larson 7x61 re-chambered for 7 mm rem mag. It weighs in at about 14 pounds with the birds eye maple stock. Suggestions of what to look for between these two weight classes would be welcome.
