Help... 1941 Lee Enfield No4 Mk1

I'm a newbie and have read a lot about the Lee Enfield rifles and have researched a lot about where mine came from but can't seem to find out exactly what "type" it is. I think it may be sporterized but not sure. I am also not sure where to find the serial # everyone has been talking about. I have found what seems to be a serial which starts with G127** on the barrel.

Any info anyone might be able to add would be great.

You have a No4MkI which has been sporterized and had Parker-Hale scope bases mounted.

The serial number should be either on the left side of the butt socket, or on the left receiver flat.

Sometimes it was electro penciled which wore off or was covered over fairly easily
