M&P is a winner for a ton of reasons. The XD (which you thankfully didn't list) is a loser for a ton of reasons too. Parts availability being just one. Same thing for the Baby Eagle. come out again tonight and play with a few more toys.

I wish i could make it tonight but work expects me to show up, the things i have to do for money.

I voted XD, but the CZ75 is a great pistol as well. Baby eagle is just a CZ copy. I have been looking for excuses to buy another pistol since I got my XD and I can't find any justifiable ones. It does everything right. It has all the features I'm looking for in a pistol and has been 100% reliable since I picked it up used for $600.00. Money well spent.

Baby Eagle- $699.00
CZ 75 B - $649.00
Springfield xd 9- $772.00
S&W m&P- $680.00 approx.

I have no experience with the S&W M&P, I used to own a TZ75 Compact (another version of the Baby Eagle), I like to shoot my friend's Springfield XD, and I have lots of experience with CZs. Any of the pistols that I have experience with will serve you well. Of these pistols, in my present mood, I would opt for the Springfield XD 9, I just really enjoy shooting it. Regards, Richard:D

Only issue with the XD's is that Springfield won't sell parts to the consumer, more so getting them into Canada. I shot the XD9 and enjoyed it alot more than a Glock17.

I am thinking about a two tone 75B/SP01 or I could save up a bit more and get a USP or a 226.

Enjoy your SP-01.

BE all the way

Just remember that the Baby Eagle is basically a CZ75 with a nicer trigger out of the box, a longer dust cover, and is made in Israel, where they are currently using them in military service. It fits my hand VERY well, and is an absolute tack driver. It's my choice out of your pistols.

Exactly my sentiments. A friend was shooting a CZ in IPSC matches and had nothing but trouble with the slide lock breaking at various times. I think the BE is a better product and it feels perfect to me. Love shooting it.

Baby Eagle Mags

Get the Tanfoglio Mags from Freedom Ventures. They have the same manufacturers stamp as the BE mags. The Tanfoglio mags are great quality and about the least expensive double stack mags anywhere.
