Hey guys, I picked up a AIA M10 no.4 in the EE, and I want a good entry level scope for it. The only experience I have with scopes before this is a 12 dollar cheapie for my pellet gun from CanTire, I had to squeeze the rings in a vice so they'd fit on the dovetail.

I dont want to pay a lot over 100$, and I want it to be rugged. Shooting will be mostly 100 yards I believe, but who knows.
Really in the dark here, any advice welcome.

The Bushnell Trophy would work juste fine for your needs, but since you seem to have some extra cash, I would suggest the Elite 3200 in 3x9x40. Total piece of mind is worth the differance... Le baron had them at 240,94$ in the '06-'07 catalog.

$$$ scope ???

I have never had a problem with a Bushnell and have had a few. Righ now I have 2 Bushnell World class both on 3006s and think that they are great. I have other Bushnells but can't remember the modles. Life long warrantee if you do have a problem. Nothing wrong with the higher priced ones but I would say save the $$ for ammo. Just my opinion.
Enjoy
Rick

I might get stomped all over for saying this, but I know where your at with wanted a cheap scope after paying for a new gun.

For my first hunting rifle I picked up a Bushnell Dusk - Dawn 3-9x40 scope from Walmart. It was under $100 came with some nice mini binos and I used it for about 5 years on my Remington 7400 in .30-06 with no problems at all.
