Numrich is sold out of all 3 types of triggers, sorry to say. See listing below, type 1, 2 and 3.

Lots of people report broken triggers on these rifles. I've had numerous examples and never seen a broken trigger.

Yes, they're alloy and probably weak but perhaps people are being a bit rammy with them?

The thing is, the rifles are still made and for sale. So parts are presumably still made.

The rifles aren't too expensive, why not just buy a new one? And then keep the metal mag housing and your mags and sell the other one off for a parts gun?

Here's an example, or better yet look for one at one of our forum sponsor's sites?

Not likely. The parts have always been hard to acquire. And ordering from Numrich...is so expensive, (not to mention many parts are out of stock anyway) that your best bet might to be to buy a new rifle. Then sell your rifle for parts on the EE for some of the many others looking for parts for them.

thanks for the imformation
ill take it apart and see what broken ,and see if they can get it for me.
i have been looking around for a 22cal....i really dont care what make or model as long as it semi auto ....good for critters in the back yard

Damn, I remember those rifles when I was back in HighSchool some 30yrs ago!! I ended up buying a Marlin bolt 22lr instead. I shudda bought that Squires instead! lol

I'll say. The SB was a lot more fun. And, as much as I shot them, I never broke a trigger or even came close.

I don't think the trigger breaks in normal usage. Perhaps trying to remove/install bolt without moving the reset? I had one come in with a broken trigger, and I broke one of the "spares" personally while trying to swap reset lobes. (some reset lobes have a cross pin through them, and accompanying receivers have a wider cut to accommodate them)

I recently had 2 come in, one missing a trigger....they went direct to EE as-is.
