So I am having an issue with an upper or a bolt carrier group and I am not sure which. The bolt carrier group is only fitting half way into the upper and becomes very tight. I believe it is the bolt carrier group that is out of spec and was looking for anyone in the Toronto area that has a bolt carrier group I could try in the upper to see if this is correct. Its better then just buying a new one before I know what is going on. It is not a problem with a bent gas key etc. I will throw in 2 sealed boxes of American eagle 223 as a thank you (as long as you have a PAL). PM me if you can help out.

I had this issue with a brand new BCG and had to get it replaced. It got to the point where it was cease in the receiver with an inch left to go. The first time I forced it down to about a half inch sticking out and I had to use pliers to wrench it out.

the body was out of spec, gas key was perfect. Replacement slid and clicked no problem
