I'm looking for a forend and forward handguard for an SMLE No 1 MK III* Lithgow production, I am to understand the wood is Australian Coachwood, I would definitely like to get some original or perhaps repro wood. It's got a nice appearance. The gun came into my possession after it's forestock had been cut down by someone, and the stock varnished for some reason. Help would be appreciated.

It's too bad, they are not permitted by law to ship outside of Australia. I have put my feelers out on Gunboards, nothing turned up yet.
