I picked up this pistol last month and I am very pleased with it. I have noticed that the rear sight is loose. Anyone else have this pistol? Could you have a look at yours and let me know if your sight is loose too? I can't figure out how to tighten it if it can be tightened. Thoughts, comments, ideas are welcome.

I have one. Great pistol but the rear sigh does get loose sometimes. Going by memory you have to remove the grip in order to reach the philip screw that is under the sight.

By the way, if you have not worked on your grip yet spend a bit of time and do it, it helps a lot. Canadian Tire sells small sand-paper tubes (about the size of a marker) that is great to sand finger grooves in the grip.

Thanks Denis! I will pull the grips and tighten the sight. It must have been loose since new. Thanks for the tip about the grips, they fit my fairly large hands well but could use some customizing for sure. I will check out the sanding tubes, sounds like they would be perfectly suited to the job. I have been contemplating making my own grips modeled after these ones for a .22. I wish I could find some generic blanks as a starting point, I know they can be found at gun shows on occasion. All in all these pistols are really amazing, I wish everything I owned had such a great trigger.

While I think about this, on my 46, if you want to change the steel plate which is part of the sight (usually you have another one with the gun so you can adjust how wide the rear sight is) you should know that the two screws that hold it are REVERSED. You have to turn clockwise to loosen them...
