I would start at the starting load and work from there in either direction. If you can get it trailboss is an excellent powder that cannot be over charged because of how low it's density is. I will be using it for my steyr m95 and cast bullets.

you are correct (well if you don't follow the instructions), if the donuts break then it changes the burn rate and thus the pressures. but i could have sworn it said not to compress the powder right on the bottles, but i couldn't find it on the ones i have unless it was under the stupid stickers that get put on for Canada. i checked the website and even their loading info for trailboss and while it doesn't say not to, if you load it the way they say you will never have a compressed load.

OK then, Andy has already told you that 4198 will be suitable for that purpose.
Just load up and shoot.

I found an exact load for it, using SR-4759, which one shop had. Crisis averted. 15 grs start giving 1600 fps, low pressure
