HELP - Chippa M6 not firing on the .22lr barrel

I just got this gun (used) and unfortunately I can't get it to fire the .22lr barrel.

Here are 3 spent rounds which did not detonate on impact. The gunsmith told me the firing pin is either misaligned or the gun was poorly manufactured and/or assembled so the pin doesn't strike close enough to the edge of the cartridge.

I'm new to this stuff so I don't know better. Is he right? If so, how can I fix this?

The gunsmith successfully detonated 2 and it looks like it's been messy.

Does that look like a normal striking placement for the firing pin on the cartridge?

It looks like the firing pin is not striking enough of the rim and is more to the inside of the case rather than on the rim. I am unfamiliar with the M6 but is it possible that the firing pin has been installed upside down?

I am sure somebody on here can offer better advice.

The firing pin is not hitting the edge of the case rim enough.

Check firing pin for correct placement.
If not, it needs to be altered or replaced.

I contacted Chiappa this morning, sent infos + pics, hopefully it turns out to be this simple!! keeping my fingers crossed X
