I recently purchased a parts lot from a dealer, and it included what I believe to be some B&T APC223 stocks. I wanted to confirm what these are, and unfortunately I don't have an APC223 of my own. I'm also leary of airsoft knockoffs being passed on as OEM, so wanted some opinions on authenticity. Nothing about these has set off any alarm bells --- the materials and workmanship look legitimate, but since I don't have an APC with which to compare, I want to be careful before considering their sale.

I've attached a bunch of pictures --- sorry for the dump, but figured more detail the better...

The first stock includes the end plate, hydraulic buffer, and stock itself. I believe it would be part BT-361496 "B&T APC223/300/308 Folding Stock w/Hydraulic Buffer":

The second is the stock itself and a clip/latch. I believe it would be parts BT-36360 "Foldable/ Retractable Stock" and BT-36373 "Locking Clip for BT-36360 for APC223/556/300/308":

Thanks for any assistance!

Yes, you appear to be correct on both counts. I have a spare APC223 Buttstock in-hand, and it is identical right down to the Buffer markings and the strange little cut-out on the Right side of the Buttplate. I also happen to own an APC308 that came with the second Buttstock (Foldable/Retractable) on it from the factory. The 2nd one is a lousy stock by any measure, and was immediately replaced on my rifle by a Magpul ACR Buttstock and aluminum Haga Defense Adapter.

Thanks Bartok5, that's helpful. For the folding/retracting stock, do you recall if sliding it open from the fully-collapsed setting was a bit stiff? I notice on closing that the last 1/4" has some resistance, and so on opening, i have to overcome that as well -- often I end up fully extending and missing the middle setting.

If that's normal, I'll leave it as-is, but if not, I might disassemble to see if I can find where it's rubbing.

Sorry, but I don't recall the sliding Buttstock "sticking" anywhere along its Length of travel. It doesn't ring any bells, nor should a properly operating Stock 'stick". I'd disassemble and look for the spot where a small bit of sanding/grinding to remove the offending "sticky spot" will sort the situation.
