Help DILLIGAF buy a M1 Garand

So im a complete knob when it comes to Garands, and I dont want to buy something that was pieced together in bubbas basement.

Be careful on Gunbroker...lots of nice Garands in Canada and pop up on the EE frequently with no export costs or source the parts you want and have someone like ZDragunov build it out - he did one of mine and it’s amazing!

If you wanna get technical, I think a couple million of Mosins and PPSh-41's did more than the Garands did to beat the MG34

6K tho. One M1D on GB for 4K right now

Think Ill just pick up a CMP rifle with case. they sit around 900 ish US with paperwork. Im watching 3 right now. and import is only 125$ Thats far from the 1800$ Garands on EE...

I buy all my MG34 parts from them. But sure as heck wont be buying rifles...lol...

If you already have a receiver you can get a parts kit for USD1050.00
Then you just need a gunsmith to piece it together properly.
That's how I got mine.

I thought the CMP rifles can't be exported?

Best advice is buy in person... a lot of Bubba guns made over the years. That or buy from a reputable source like my FIL billybob.
