Help finding 180 gr Remington Bronze Point bullets

As the title says. I can find the 150 gr bullets to reload but not any 180's.

The latest Hunting mag said the Bronze Point is no longer made.
I would advertise in the EE under reloading.

I am hoping someone may have a lead on some old stock.

A friend of mine here has 100, and they are 180 gr.............but we just loaded them up for him for target practice......... because no one thinks they are any good for big game.

Too explosive when I loaded them in 30-06 years back. I couldn't imagine them in my 300 RUM!

+2 way to explosive. I shot a WT in the throat when I was 14 with a 150 bronze point. He had his neck out facing me and the bullet went neck, thoric, gasritc and finally into the pelvis/femur and totally fragmented out one rear quarter. Looked like a grenade went off inside, lots of meat loss. That was a 30-06.
Try a nosler Accubond, they are accurate, open well and still don't totally ruin meat like ballistic tips.

That sounds to me like pretty fair penetration, an entire deer!

I killed my biggest whitetail with one of those. The bullet killed the deer, but blew up on a broadside lung shot after hitting only one rib. It didn't even penetrate the off side lung except for a few little bits and no fragments made it as far as the off side ribcage on the inside of the chest. That was out of a .308 at about 80 yds. Way too fragile a bullet IMHO.
