Hey everyone,

I am trying to track down a ACOG scope. Something like the Trijicon ACOG TA31RCO. I have been googling but have not been able to find anything for Canada. Anyone know where I could find one in Canada? I am looking for one that is calibrated for .308

I've got a old TA01 4x32 that's spent a little too long in the sandbox that I could let go. But it's a .223 reticle. Glass still great, some dings.

They're around, just finding one that someone wants to let go of is the hard part. I've got 3 of them and I love them.

Is it just me, or is anyone else feeling a little slighted by the yanks here... Is it us your reluctant to arm, or the hordes of other fellas that come in? You know what the secret to disabling terrorists is? Playstation, intoxication, food, sports, consumerism, and female companionship. If you have those, you probably don't care about semantics and isms.

What are you planning to use it for? There are some pretty solid 1-4 power setups that can be had for about the same money and IMHO are a better option.

I was looking into the acog as well, but dont really like the fact that its fixed 4x. I recently got to handle an elcan specterdr and loved it, you said you would prefer no batteries which is understandable but if you can, check out the elcan. I cant attest to its durability, but it sure was nice.

Other than that, the acog is obviously battle proven and is durable as hell from what I have read (key word, read, not experienced)

You can order several models from Police Ordnance.

Last time I checked TA31F was available. Some of the newer ones...RCO and such aren't available due to demands by US military.

I have a TA33R

If I were buying now I'd just buy the little 'pitbull' model IOR 1 / 4X scope with the tactical reticle.

If you want a new one, give Police Ordnance a call, they stock Trijicon TA31Fs (identical to the one in your picture, but without the windage lines, which IMHO aren't much use). I believe the RCO model is not allowed for export from the US, but those rules seem to change daily, so who knows...

Also note that the RCO model is calibrated for bullet drop in a 14.5" barrel AR15 variant firing 62gr bullets. The TA31F is intended for a 20" barrel with 62gr bullets.
