Help finding Browning Citori Parts Canada - Top Lever Spring

I have an older browning citori Gti, that has started to pop open on occasion after discharge.

The most likely culprit is a warm Top Lever Spring $8usd, browning part number B1334460. I've found it in the US, but for some reason, ITAR perhaps, a spring for a 30'yr old gun is not eligible to cross US into Canada.

I tried reliable guns who have it listed as out of stock and emailed them to see if they would be getting more, but waiting on a response.

Any other ideas as to who I can check with in Canada, anyone have a spare for sale?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks Randall

I thought when they open up after discharge....it’s the locking bolt issue.

If you need springs I would try j&p custom products. I have talk to other shooters who use them and they say they are good quality

Thanks everyone, I'll call reliable and western gun Monday, appreciate everyone's input, hoping it's only the spring and nothing more serious. Will update the post later in case it helps others.

So I called Reliable on June 25th, spoke with a very helpful person, he took my serial number called me back to confirm that the spring was available, took my address, email and CC information and promised to ship the spring that day as well as provide a tracking number. Nothing for two weeks, no CC charge, no tracking number, so called back (July 8th)and spoke with the same person, again very polite, confirmed he had all my details and would check into the delay and call back, still waiting and have no idea what to make of Reliable !

Obviously someone inside has dropped the ball.

I'm actually gobsmacked this has not been sorted out for you.

Kinda puts me in the spotlight for recommending them.

I find it best to call with browning part numbers in hand .they will tell if it is in stock or available or no longer in production . part numbers can be found on the browning web site in the support section .
