Good afternoon all,

I've been experiencing FTE issues with my FX-9, where the empty casing and the new cartridge would mash together in the chamber. Some details regarding my issue:

-Using 124gr 9mm Blazer ammo
-Shot a total of 350 rounds so far
-Issue occurs with both PMag and included magazine
-Rifle was lubricated and subsequently dry. I'm going to shoot some more rounds next weekend with the rifle wet
-Usually occurs half-way through the magazine, but not always

Thanks in advance for your suggestions to rectify this issue.

Mine did the same when new, I sent it to Wolverine under warranty and it’s ran great since. I believe it is an issue with the extractor. There is a video (YouTube ?) that shows you how to do it if you don’t want to send it away.

Here’s the link from the other thread for the extractor mod that fixes the issues I did it on mine and it cycles like a dream now about 2000rds no issues since.

Here is a link to the minor extractor mod that can be done to improve ejection apperantly. Freedom Ordnance does this mod now on all FX-9 moving forward.

Thanks for the advice guys, I saw a video on applying O-rings to the extractor spring, but I like the idea of filing down the ramp as it's more permanent. I'll reach out to the manufacturer to determine the turn-around time before venturing this way.
