:confused:I'm looking at buying a scope for my 223 and am curious about the Burris Fulfield II 4.5-14x42, but I checked one out and could hardly move the adjustable objective adjustment. How much does a guy actually #### with the adjustment? Does it tend to be put in one place and left there or is it really necesary to keep changing it? If you indeed change it lots would it be wise to look at the nikon buckmaster with the side focas? OR, if it is just somthing that stays in one spot should a guy get a bushnell 3200 10X.
I'm getting the itch to buy a scope and would really like any input you guys could share.

Well - I guess it depends upon what you plan to use it for. Most hunting applications dont need the AO feature... the scope is set for 100 y. Where does that leave you?

I have one on my .223 varmint rig. The A/O is a PITA compared to Side Focus, but if your smaking gophers @ 200 yards you have the time to fine tune your scope. For any other application, I leave it a the 100 mark.

I prefer to keep my big game rifles free of A/O or SF styles, as that instant focus can mean the difference between a full freezer, or tag soup.
