A friend of mine has asked me find out some information on an old shotgun that has been given to him. It was originally his grandfathers. The shotgun has seen better days with some electrical tape holding the stock together and poor condition overall. The action is very loose with around a 1/8th to 1/4 inch gap before the barrel. I don't think it is in a shootable condition. Value is of no interest, he just would like to know where the gun was made, when and by who.

There are no real distingushing features on the gun. No manufacturer or anything stamped on the sides, just the proof mark found under the barrel. It is a 12ga. single shot with an exposed hammer.

I'm thinking it might be an old Cooey just I'm just guessing. Check out he pics and I'll see if I'm lucky enough to have someone tell me what it is!

Thanks
Osborne
