Recently added this small single-shot to my collection. Am unable to find any kind of info on it. Because it shares so many features usually found on airguns, I even wrote the Daisy Museum and they responded that it wasn't theirs.

I'm not knowledgeable about woods, but this stock was sawn from a flat plank, the sharp edges were rounded and smoothed, a finger groove was routed into both sides of the forestock, and it has NO buttplate. All metal is nicely blued. The ONLY stamping on the gun is on top of the rear sight.

Stamping appears to represent the 3 Egyptian pyramids (representing Africa) above the word SAFARI (for which Africa is well known), with smaller (101) below that (which could be a Model Number). No other markings! Small bolt used for elevation adjustment.

VERY plain trigger and triggerguard are stamped out of steel. Single bolt takedown. Overall length 35", LOP 14", weight 3 lbs 2 ozs., cal. .22rf S-L-LR.

Note rear sight is PINNED to the receiver with V-notch toward the muzzle! ODD! Have only seen one other .22rf rifle with that configuration.

WHO made it? WHERE was it made? WHEN was it made? HOW MANY were made?

Would also appreciate any additional info you might be able to furnish. THANKS IN ADVANCE!
