I have a Winchester 1000X. The open sights are a joke so i put on a scope but the rings kept sliding. I finally found an awesome set of rings that don't move but the crosshairs just broke on my second scope, "made for air guns". Ya right! It wasn't a cheap plastic scope but it was made in China by Bell. Anyone know of a decent scope that once i've got it set, won't move or BREAK!?
Also the screw that holds the barrel to the stock comes loose. Should i use lock tight, a lock washer, etc.? any suggestions for what works?:nest:

D&L Airgun in BC, Langley I think, have a good selection of Leapers scopes. They mail quickly and are great to deal with. I have bought a couple of rifles from them as well as a couple of red dots and a 6x "Bug Buster". Nice compact little scope. Google their website, I recommend them.

Don't own a 1000X so no help from me there.
