I'm guessing it hasn't been sporterized due to the top handguard, either way if the bolt is matching or mis-matched (probably why previous owner took #'s off) and its full military configuration and theres nothing majorly wrong with it, then you've got yourself at least a $300-$400 gun,

value depends on a lot of factors and more pictures would be necessary to give you an accurate quote.

1. Take the serial off the back face of the bolt handle and stamp it on the receiver somewhere! Even though the long gun registry is gone, it is still against the law to remove a serial number.

You have a No 4 MK 1.

This is a bit like showing a photo of two hubcaps and a door and asking what the car is worth.

.
As M39a2 suggests, stamp the bolt serial number on the left side of the butt socket beneath the safety. You can buy a set of number stamps from Princess Auto for about $15.

Il looks like the last two numbers on the bolt match the partly scrubbed number that is electro pencilled on the receiver when the rifle was Fatctory Thorough Repaired, so the bolt might be the matching bolt to the rifle.
.

The electro-etching will change the metallurgy of the surface where it was inscribed on. You might be able to bring back the serial number with some bluing, or some other form of chemical, as long as the grinds are not too deep. In the photo you show, you can almost make out the numbers.....even some high macro shots under some different lighting might just net the serial. Of course, there is always the possibility that the rifle was stolen at one time.

3 rifles go to the guys house today to look ,so he drags them out i look them over and he has ground most of the serials and all other marks off them inc mags bayo's bolt's. kinda kills it for me zero value.

Wow, this fellow had no idea what he was doing... pretty sad story!!!!

108.(1) Every person commits an offence who, without lawful excuse, the proof of which lies on the person,

(a) alters, defaces or removes a serial number on a firearm; or

(b) possesses a firearm knowing that the serial number on it has been altered, defaced or removed.

I wouldn't touch them with a ten foot pole. They sound more and more like stolen firearms to me.
