I’ve seen coons come out of burrows like that laying under tall grass with 2 feet of snow ontop could b a skunk as well

Groundhog. The hole is larger than a a normal groundhog hole because the recent warm temps/rain melting the snow.

With how wet its been lately I wouldn’t be surprised if he was getting a bit wet in his hole and made an early exit to keep dry….
