Hi all.
I have a curious single-shot shotgun in my posession, but i don't know anything about it. It looks pretty old. I think it's 20ga.
Would love is someone tells me more about it.
Someone told me it's a russian Baikal, but i couldn't find any info to support that.
Here are the pics:

Baikal- maybe? But I'm thinking German / Austrian - possibly DWM. Is there a logo on that brass circle on the left side of the receiver or is that just discoloration? Kayceel

Looks Gemanic , could you take pictures of the underside of the barrell right under the chamber as that is where all info. is located on shotguns that will help tell us atleast where it was made(country of origin) Dale in T-Bay

Germanic? Perhaps.
I took it apart and i couldn't find any markings whatsoever.
Other then the short number on the side (serial#??) and letters SUP on the bottom of the palm grip on the stock.
Nothing on the barrel under the forestock, or on the receiver anywhere.
There is no logo on the brass button. It's just worn out by use.
It's a mystery. But it doesn't look homemade. The fit of everything is too well.

German Erfert

German Erfert. Push button open or drop barrel. I had one and it had a saddle ring instead of the brass button. Octogon barrel.

IF it is German it should be marked almost everyplace around the breeching and under-barrel with the 1891-series proof marks.

If no marked it just might be a gun-maker's apprentice test piece - it really is NOT that well-made. No buchsenmachermeister would give it a second glance, TBH.

We need pix!!
