Hi guys, Hoping you can help out here. I recently acquired this model 95 SRC in .303, although she's no museum piece the price was right.
The problem is that at some point it seems the receiver was scrubbed and there are practically no markings left, including the rifle's original S/N.
Any help in narrowing the date of manufacture down would be greatly appreciated
you can see the butt stock has been replaced and sports a Winchester recoil pad as well.
receiver markings (including upper tang) and saddle ring are non existant
markings remain on the bbl including the caliber as I would assume these were protected by the upper handguard which is also no longer present
rear sight, anyone know what the ranges were?
Front sight with brass? blade
only legible markings remaining on the receiver is this little 52
Thanks guys.
Gary
