I bought the take-off parts (everything except receiver) from a C/A auto M14 with the intent to build a nice rifle on an M305 receiver. I do not own an M305 yet, so nothing to compare to. There are some parts extra to my intended build. My intent is to list them on the EE, but I do not want to misrepresent maker and value.

Please take a look and let me know if the parts are M14/M1A or M305 and approx value. If there are any hints or particular pics you need to identify, I will post.

Stock. Obviously synthetic M14. Pros, good shape, good checkering, no cracks, structurally sound with front ferrule and swivel. Cons, no buttplate or the small nut to hold the top butt plate screw. Painted black. I was tempted to strip it but have no idea what type of paint is on it and all my strippers attack fibreglass, so I think it is best to sell as is. Based on responses to an earlier thread I posted I think it is worth about $ 80-100. (Hello Kitty radio will not be for sale).

Handguard. Again, off the M14. Pros, good shape, good parkerizing on clip. Cons, painted black, has what appear to be cracks/scratches at rear end, however they are not visible on the inside. Maybe $ 20 ?

1. Connector Assembly, obviously M14. Value ?

2. I think this is a Garand trigger, no markings though.

3. M14 trigger, you can see where the full auto trip lug was ground off the sear, no markings.

4. Rear aperture.

5. Rear sight base.

6. Hammer spring assembly with strut, note the small hole at the bottom end of the housing.

7. Hammer spring assembly, no hole and darker parkerizing.

8. Front stock ferrule.

9. Firing Pin, no markings.

10. Gas Plug

11. Hammer, (Update) I have been informed this is an M14 hammer based on drawing number 5546008-HR-N

Again thanks for any tips to properly identify and value.
