Going through a freinds deceased Father's estate we found some old ammo, bunch of 1940 303 both round and soft point ... plus something we don't have a clue on.

There are no markings. I can't post photos so if you would like to see a macro photo please email me at: eagle25219@gmail.com

Lead roundnose bullet, brass wrapped casing. 61 mm overall bullet and casing length, brass casing 50 mm long by 15 mm dia (2.4"- 1.97" - .59") . Casing is 2 piece casing body, wrapped brass fit into a sleeved base.

Based on his Father's Military history I would guess it is some sort of military ammo, but don't know.

Thanks for any help
Bob
