This was purchased from a now defunct shop in Grande Prairie, AB a few years ago.

It has no markings as far as the manufacturer.

Can anybody help identify it?

MPI markings alone aren’t the best indicators of a quality bolt.
Are there any test dimples visible on the carrier? Usually visible on its left forward side.
The plating covers most if not all indications of a poor unit. That one looks like having quite the heavy plating too. I’d be hard pressed trusting something like that not knowing who manufactured it, but I’m sure someone will buy it.

Well, it really doesn’t mean anything for sure, but right down to the font of the MPI and the fixture used for the staking, it looks exactly like a Brownells BCG I have, and they have sold them chrome plated.

The photos show to have a Nickel Boron finish coating. That’s a good sign as preferred finish over chrome. I’m thinking if it’s a Brownells BCG, ToolCraft could have made it for them, or several other companies like Anderson come to mind. Some might only make the carrier and use a different manufacturer’s bolt.
Regardless, if it is indeed a Brownells BCG, they wouldn’t sell crap and have a lifetime warranty on it.
