Sorry I don’t know much about this reamer I got with sone other odds and ends from a friends estate. Looking for some help identifying it. The shank is etched “H & M Tools .22 CAL”, and the front snout measures 0.214-0.215 inches in diameter. Any help would be appreciated thanks.

The front snout is called a pilot and that particular size is for a .22 rim fire barrel. It is used to cut a 60 degree chamfer on the barrel. I have a few with removable pilots and finish the crowning process using one of them. It leaves a very smooth finish concentric with the bore.

$30 would be fair...

it's a great tool to have for .22 rim fires... fix all sorts of crowning jobs... freshen up old crowns in seconds.
