Trying to identify some scope rings that came in a bulk deal. 1 inch, appear to be aluminum, fit weaver bases and have YFS stamped on the 2 ring screws. They have an angled cut in the base that closes gripping the weaver base.
Not having much luck on Google.
Any input appreciated RB

Have you tried putting a photo of them into Google lense, I've had mixed results with it, but you could also add key words along with your photo (yfs) if you had posted a photo that's the rout I was going to try

Appear to be a generic scope ring, of no particular pedigree.

Would not be surprised to find out that "YFS" is the initials of the maker of the screws, and has nothing whatsoever to do with the maker of the rings. That's the way I'd bet, if I was betting on it, anyways...

Someone went through the trouble to lap them so either they were not usable in their factory condition or they really liked the ring design😁

Those rings could give slight lateral adjustment, by rotating one of the rings. Biggest complaint I had with them was that the steel screws would corrode in place in the aluminum rings - just about impossible to remove without drilling the heads.
