Can anyone help me identify the model of this Swarovski 2.5-10x42 scope? It has a 30mm tube, duplex crosshair, and is first focal plane. I'd also be interested in an approximate age and value.

The rings fit Sako dovetails, but they're not the same as the Optilocks that I already have. The top ring halves wrap past the midline, like Leupold PRWs and the front base is windage-adjustable (note the slot for the screw that holds the ring to the base and the grub screws on either side). I'm thinking Lynx, but haven't seen a set firsthand to know for sure. Any ideas?

Scope looks to be a PV series. I believe it's the model before the current "Z" line. Value $800-$1000 perhaps.

Could the rings be EAW? The screws/halves sure look similar.

Very nice rings and EAW are never inexpensive. The front has a nice adjustment feature to accommodate dovetails that are not lined up correctly or have minor deviations. This adjustment is not for windage of course or you would twist the scope tube ....for reasons that are apparent ..... I would "guess" for used rings that $200-250 would be high and $100-125 low BUT only of value to guy with a 30mm scope.

Excellent scope but market can be funny on price.

Great point about the "windage" misnomer --- you're right. I have scope alignment bars, so will use them to verify that everything is adjusted properly. I like what I've read about the rings and am curious to see if they return to zero when removed. Since this is my only 30mm scope, looks like I'll be keeping the rings and scope together.
