HELP!! Installing a harris bipod adapter to a SAVAGE MAKO MKII .22

I am trying to figure out how to install a bipod stud to my savage mako stock. I want to put a harris adapter on there so i can just place the harris 6-9 on there.

Any ideas or previous expertise in doing this would be greatly appreciated.

If the stock doesnt have a sling swivel stud figure out how far from the for end you want it to sit. Mark the middle of the stock and drill the hole for the stud. I had to do that on my boyds evo stock. Takes 5 min at the most
