HELP - Installing Knoxx stock on 870 tactical

Hey.. need some help. Im installing a Spec ops stock on my tactical 870. Ive cleaned the threads with a brass brush, But the pitch on the internal hex screw of the Knoxx stock seems to be coarse thread compared to the reciever nut on my Rem. Has anyone had this problem ? I can start about 3 threads but then it binds up. I dont wanna damage the thread pitch. Do I need more parts ? Thanks
 
I put a Knoxx stock on my Dlask 870 (which I believe is just a Remington Express receiver with their 8.5" barrel on it), and I had no such problems. Maybe at the factory when they were putting the parts together for your stock, someone grabbed the wrong piece--maybe you accidentally got a screw for a Mossberg or something.

Better to figure it out and avoid buggering up all the threads by forcing it.
 
Have you tryed just gettignthe bolt started into the reciver nut without the stock on?
instaling the knoxx stock can sometime be a pain.

I got the bolt out of the stock, Cleaned it up on a wire wheel.. No problems fits good now, the old blue lock tight on the threads was holding it up.
