Help me decide what EOTech for my NEA15?

FWIW, I also run an Aimpoint CompML2 and I prefer the new XPS series Eotechs. My suggestion to the OP or anyone else is to arrange to mount both to a rifle, look through them at both light and dark corners of the shop, ideally at a distance of 15m or further away and decide which is more comfortable for you. Even better if you can do a shooting trial.
Not everyone's eyes reacts the same to HWS and red-dots. Ergonomically not everyone will like the same rifle balance between the various options out there.
Frankly, I think you can't go wrong with an XPS, EXPS or most of the aimpoint lineup for a CQB-type sight. They are all light (enough) and durable (enough) for any range use on a 5.56 firearm.

Looks is one thing, speed is too, price is another (if I had enough I would be getting ACOG or elcan), and our police use them so I was hoping that they know what they are doing. Then I also come on here to look for opinions because 500+ is a lot to spend on a whim. Since I knew people would offer insight into other sights I thought it would be good to give the general type of sight that I'm looking for.
I have time downrange, using an EOTech and magnifier for the entirety of it. It's a good sight.
I have nothing against Aimpoints. I just happen to prefer the EOTech reticle.
It's unfortunate that you seem to have had issues with EOTech sights - but in my experience, your issues are the exception to the rule.
