Gentlemen,
tought I throw a question out there...
Good friend of mine has came in a possession of Cheyenne Carbine with what appears to be gold plated receiver. 44-40, of course. Barrel rib(?) are gold plated as well.

On the stock there is a medalion with an image of an indian in full head dress and word Cheyenne.
There is besides regular horn shoe sight an adjustable pip sight behind the hammer.

Beautiful gun

Serial #CH003XX in A1 unfired condition.

Was purchased of a collection sale in 90s.

Any and all information would be appreciated.

Regards,

Serguei

There are several out there and the absolute most a crazy person would pat for it would be maybe $600. I bought mine for a little under $400 and made sure to use it as soon as it arrived. Works good on muledeer.

Thank you!

Thank you very much!!!

The owner wishes to hold on to that one, I already have a $175 Winchester 94 plain Jane I shoot constantly...

Collecting without shooting is just not my thing.

Cheers,
Serguei
