Help me find a handguard!

So, I've got a 16" barrel with an ATI Strikeforce free-float hand guard, which I'm really not a fan of. I'd like to switch to a skinnier M-LOK handguard. I don't want to spend a fortune, and don't care too much about brand names. Would like something between 12-15" with a full length flat top picatinny rail. I've found a few I like, but it seems like the market is flooded with these things so figured I'd ask the experts...

ALG defence is where I would look.

Their V2 or V3 hand guards are very nice and not too much money.

I put one these bravo company hadguards on one of my ARs. It looks to be well built, and installation wasn't difficult. And it's quite skinny and lightweight.

for quality and budget, you cant beat ALG. They are under the same umbrella as Geissele so they have a solid reputation to back the product. Try to avoid the chinese knock off handguards sold by some retailers. Its just not worth it.

ALG rails get good reviews. Just be aware the V1 rails have slots at the 3 and 9 positions, and the V2 and V3 rails that do not. That may or may not be an issue depending on your wants.

Good call. I didn't notice that when I saw these rails before. I like the option of having rail slots at 3 & 9 o'clock. Better to have and not need...

I say buy BCM as I did for my 16" and you will only cry once about the price of buying it. Buy something cheaper and you may not be pleased and end up buying another ie crying twice.

Debating on this guy in 13.5". Though I'm not really a fan of the triangle/trapezoid pattern, the price fits the bill and the length is perfect..
