Hi there.
a while back while perusing the pistol exchange section, i saw a very unique looking revolver for sale.
it was blued , had a large (bull?) round barrel, (which was wider/taller than the frame)
it also had a funny, tokerev-like cover over the sides of the hammer.

a sort of quarter circle shape where the frame extended out covering the sides of the hammer, making only the tip exposed (just like a T-33 tokerov)

other than those features i cant remember anything else.
I think it was .357,
anyway.
I found it very intruiging and am looking for a revolver to pick up
could anyone suggest what they think it may have been?

Ill check this SECOND.
BUt I've been paying special attention to the "1000 guns for sale" posts, as I assume it was in one of them.
one sec..let me see.. (in a new tab)

nope thats not it..
actually. know what I'm going to do (since I'm so obsessed with this)
I'm going to use my extreme Photoshop skills and make a fake picture of what I remember it looking like..
(ill use a real gun pic as the foundation, it will look real)

i'll post the pic in a few minutes.

here it is,
this is pretty close.
note the sides of the frame extending over the hammer , similar to a tokarev..
thanks for any suggestions.
keep in mind this is a just a photo manipulation

are most PPC revolvers double action only?
if so I suppose I'll call off my search, as my tremor makes double action pulls really uncomfortable for me.

I got a DA/SA PPC gun. But they tune the triggers that DA are sooo nice.

Probably a PPC double action race gun you were looking at. Some aftermarket barrels have weird looking underlugs that would give it a very heavy appearence. The hammer was probably just semi-bobbed giving the appearance that it was sunk into the frame.
