I bought a bag of mystery fmj 55 grain bullets. Wondering if anyone recognizes them. They shoot well, looking for more if I can figure out what they are. 43BDC6F4-D816-476A-9D38-48D5D091D152.jpg

The bullet that is standing up appears to be a HP not FMJ, other than that they look like bulk Hornady i have. Tough to put a positive id on them going by a picture.

Hornady 22 CAL .224 53gr HP W/C Match

Interesting - I would have guessed Hornady, but not finding that picture in Hornady 9th manual - so .224" diameter, 55 grain, plus cannelure groove, plus Boat Tail and plus Hollow Point. Did not find that combo in Nosler 9, Speer 14 or Sierra 5th, either.

That Hornady would be my guess. Hence the bulk bag.

I have used them before. They are a good bullet. They also had a 62gr at one time. Maybe still do. Was excellent also.
