Help me identify a possible 10/22 part please

Hi There,

Found a little plastic part in my gun case, and wasn't sure where it belongs. It could either belong to a Dlask DAR22 (most probable) or a norinco 870 clone (or could be some random piece off a sling or something).

It's about 1.5 cm long. I was cleaning the guns the other day, and had the trigger assembly out. Did some web searching, and didn't find any answers

Any ideas?

ive ripped my 10/22's down to nothing probably 100 times and i can honestly say i have never seen that before.

1.5 CM(??)
or 1.5" ?

sec i think i have the blueprints for a 10/22 here somewhere, ill go look for ya.

this one here wont help ya, this is the receiver frame

but this one will, its the trigger assembly.

only other internal parts are the upper and that has only a bolt, pin, charging handle and the springs for them (and pins) none of which are what you have shown.

so im guessing its not from your gun.

unless your gun is maybe a SR?
i havnt had hands on time with a SR or a takedown.

I also have had my 10/22's apart dozens of times, last time was last night, and I have never seen anything that looks like the picture the OP shows

Looks like the thread protector from my cleaning rod.

looks like the bushing that holds the the bits in one of the CDN Tire rotary tool kits (Wooden box) .Were you using a dremel tool ?
