When I was young lad, the first rifle I had ever shot and grew to love was one my fathers 22's. At some point while I was still very young, my father had to sell it along with his other firearms to make ends meat. Here we are many years later and going through some of my parents family photo's I got lucky enough to find a picture of it! In all its glory over the fireplace were it spent most of its life.

From some quick google searching, it seems to either be a Cooey 60 or 600. Also, does anyone have any idea what scope that could of possibly been? Thanks a lot for any help!

I agre with the 60/600. I have one myself! No guesses on the scope, unless it's an old weaver, but the eye relief must have been brutal! :)

That would be my guess as well Cooey Model 60 (1939-66)
In 1967 Cooey/Winchester catalog started advertising them as the new 600.
Scope could be either a Weaver B4 or a B6.

Looks like a Cooey 60 to me. That was my first rifle as well. Quite an accurate rifle the way i remember. I think the Cooey 600 often had checkering. I am hoping to aquire one as well someday, just for nostalgic reasons.

I have a Weaver J2.5 and a J4 both have exceptional good eye relief. 3"-5.5"
That's pretty good for older scopes.
