Help Me Pick a Paint Scheme (Pics)

OK Guys, need your input as I can't decide how I want my rifle to look. Forgive the crudeness of the Photoshopping, it's kinda late. You get the idea, anyways. The colours are kinda what I'm thinking, the metal was hard to get looking tan and the pictures below don't do my idea quite justice, but you get the gist.

Here's the colour I'm going for...

...or maybe khaki, not sure yet.

Simple
Classic 'Black Rifle' look, fairly easy, just needs the furniture painted.

Tan Furniture
Nice two-tone look - fairly easy to do.

Tan Furniture & Barrel
Same as above with the added dificulty of getting the barrel done also.

Dark Furniture, Tan Metal
This would take some work as the metal would all need to be re-finished (or money to pay someone to do it).

Dark Furniture, Tan Metal, Dark Barrel
This would be the hardest (or most expensive) but looks pretty cool.

So, let me know what you think. I'll of course post pics once it's completed.

I voted for 'Tan Furniture', but 'Simple' also looks good and would be my second choice.

P.S. I sent my M40-A1 slide off to Armacoat yesterday to get painted 'Satin Black' I can show it to you when it gets back

But, have you considered perhaps...pink? or maybe an orange...? Sort of like a "Miami" black rifle.

I like the timelessness of the tan furniture and black metal. It would look cool black on black too, especially if you had the metal bits black parkerized instead of that godawful greyish finish they come with!

Well the "all-black" rifle said 'armacoat'. I have to agree that both posted images look much better painted than stock.

"The original fiber-red is just dreadful... it's soooo poopy-70's." (hehehe )

Hey, no one says you can't be a bad-ass operator and look cool doing it. And by bad-ass operator I mean weekend range warrior slash zombie hunter extraordinaire.

I'm buying a black chest rig and I'll be wearing it with tan cargo pants and shirt so I thought that a little matching would be a good thing.

It's certainly no pants and tshirt and SKS like I did last year but hey I figure I need to go through a gear-junky phase at some point so might as well do it when I've got the cash...

BTW the 'grey' finish on mine is really, really dark grey, pretty much looks black already - we'll see how it contrasts once the furniture's painted hoever I end up doing it...
